THE HUMAN BARBIE DOLL: Meet Cindy Jackson, the woman with the most plastic surgeries
Did you know that British-American Cindy Jackson is reputed as the woman with the most plastic surgeries, having undergone a world-record 52 cosmetic treatments which she disputed?
Cindy Jackson, a British-American that is based in England since 1977, was reported in 2011 to have undergone a world-record 52 cosmetic treatments, including tooth whitening, filler injections, AHA peels, Botox, five face-lifts and liposuction among others, with a total value of over £60,000.
Often called the ‘human Barbie doll’, she recalls unexpectedly finding herself in the record books in 1999 for supposedly being the most cosmetically-enhanced patient on the planet, “spending $99,600 (then £60,000) on 27 operations over a period of nine years”.
Reacting later to that record in a 2023 publication published in The Telegraph, she said, “It’s a long story but basically I ended up in the Guinness Book of Records, where it said I had the most cosmetic surgery in the world, which is ridiculous. It’s true to say I was the first extreme makeover, pioneering using surgery to completely change my looks.
"Instead of just having a facelift or a nose job, I had everything done. But they [the Guinness Book of Records] counted every salon facial, Botox and filler injection, permanent make-up application and even teeth-whitening sessions as surgical procedures. I will never have 27 cosmetic surgery operations as long as I live – I’d look like a patchwork quilt!” she stressed
But after 17 years in the Guinness Book of Records, Jackson lost her world record for having the most cosmetic procedures in the world. Jackson has stated that the operations she has undergone have changed her life.
Jackson grew up in small town Ohio, with a short-tempered father and low self-esteem. When her father died, he left her some money, and she used it to start her transformation. She says she's been careful to take it slow, but also said she just wants to look beautiful and young.
"I didn't set out to break, to set a world record, it was never my ambition, it's just that I had so much done. For me, it was just to look better," she said.
Jackson works as a consultant, providing plastic surgery and anti-aging advice, according to her website. She's also written two books: "Living Doll" and "Image and Cosmetic Surgery Secrets."
