The Ijaw Publishers' Forum, IPF, has  expressed its deepest condolence to a former chairman of the defunct Egbema Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation (EGCDF), Amb. Jude Ukori (JP) and family over the unexpected demise of his beloved wife, Pst. Mrs. Jane Ukori.

The Forum's national president Comr. Ozobo Austin who led a delegation on a recent condolence visit to Amb. Ukori said the death of the wife of the peace ambassador was very unfortunate and a monumental loss to the IPF and  Ijaw Nation at large.

The late Mrs. Ukori passed on after a brief illness and a prompt medical attention at Lilly Hospital and at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) in Benin City, Edo State.

While signing the condolence register on behalf of the Forum, Comr. Ozobo noted that Mrs. Ukori was a woman of valor and a leading light, and prayed for God's fortitude upon Amb. Ukori and his family to bear the irreparable loss.

The Forum's president also noted that the legacy of the late Mrs. Ukori would be forever remembered while he prayed her gentle soul to rest in the Bosom of the Lord.

It would be recalled that Amb. Ukori, just last year (2023), lost one of his wives to the cold hands of death.
